Our full time dance instructors are highly skilled and trained professionals who are experts at helping students of all levels achieve confidence in their dancing. All of our instructors are gifted educators and dancers, certified in the Fred Astaire Curriculum through one of only three (3) nationally recognized ballroom dance certification programs in this country, the Fred Astaire National Council of Dance. You will be amazed at how simple and easy we make the learning process at Fred Astaire Dance Studio of the Quad Cities.
Pam Rutherford - NDCA, NADTA, Co-Owner, Co-Manager, Dance Director, Certified Professional Dance Instructor, Professional Competitor.

Pam began dancing and competing 34 years ago. She was trained by the very highest level coaches from around the world. Known throughout the country as an expert dance technician (one who completely understands the mechanics of body movement), she has the rare gift of being able to correctly assess and help any level of dancer achieve greatness, whether it be a social dancer or a professional competitior. She competed professionally in all major competitions around the country for over 20 years, consistently either winning or placing in the finals. More info here
Chaz Czinder - BBA, Co-Owner, Co-Manager, Open Amateur Competitor, Open Pro/Am Competitor.

Chaz began dancing in 1998 and his first competition was in 1999. He competes with Pam Rutherford and Lindsey Rutherford in the American Smooth Division, placing in the finals or semi finals in competitions around the country, including 2nd place at The Heart of America DanceSport Championships.

He has trained with many U.S. and DanceSport Champions including Tomas Meilnicki, Sam Sodano, Mazen Hamza, Glenis Dee, Dan Messenger and Pam Rutherford.
Kelley Kennon - BA., Certified Professional Dance Instructor, Pro/Am Competitor.

Kelley has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She is certified as a professional personal trainer and possesses a university degree in dance education that includes movement and exercise. She has competed in numerous competitions around the country with her students. Her ballroom dance training is with Pam Rutherford.

She is currently dancing with her students in ballroom dance productions and competes with them around the country in the Pro/Am division.
Lindsey Rutherford - Certified Professional Dance Instructor, Professional Competitor, Pro/Am Competitor.

Lindsey has been ballroom dancing since she was 3 years old. Her first competition was with her father at the age 4. She began teaching professionally in 2003. She appeared on the Disney's 2007 TV Christmas Parade. Watch here

She has competed in the Professional American Rhythm division since 2003, placing in the finals or semi finals of competitions around the country with her partner Jonah Schneider.

She is currently competing with her students in the Pro/Am division.
Jonah Schneider - Certified Professional Dance Instructor, Professional Competitor, Pro/Am Competitor.
